How I Trained My Dragon

Oh wow, something new after a fortnight of re-uploaded stuff.

Anyway, was watching a few episodes of that new How to Train Your Dragon show and got in the mood to design a dragon in a similar style. So here we have what I like to call the Regal Nadder; since I imagine it to a be a related species to the Deadly Nadder as seen in the movie. In my head they are found much farther south than the Deadly Nadder and as such they prefer warmer climates. The rider's armor takes elements from some of the concept sketches of the Easternlings from the Lord of the Rings movies (those intern would meant to look vaguely middle-eastern which was kinda the look I wanted for my guy). The harness set-up is based on 's pokemon HM designs.

Actually had a real bitch of a time on this guy, mostly the head. I just couldn't seam to get the perspective right which of course resulted in me drawing and re-drawing the head for hours. But oh well, I think it turned out alright in the end.
