Sith Heavy Mauler

The Heavy fighter, or "Mauler" is a cruiser buster class fighter. With several heavy cannons and nearly impenetrable armor, the ship is one of the most feared in its size class. Though its shield and armaments is impressive, its speed is not. Assentially crawling through space, it is easily out speed by most other fighters. While it lacks speed, it has a sizable hyperdrive, essentially eliminating the need for transport by command carriers. Though because of its lack of speed, its been gradually falling out use in favor for faster and more agile ships
